Fixed Items

  • Several pages were fixed to exclude inactive Branch Numbers, Profit Center Numbers, and Cost Center Numbers from drop-down boxes since for transaction entry inactive codes should not be allowed. - Release Date: 3/13/2018
  • Several programs that allowed for saving selectivity were overriding your run-time selectivity with previously saved selectivity. - Release Date: 2/22/2018
  • Issue when selecting to Add Report, the menu would stay open. The menu now closes and displays the pop up window. - Release Date: 2/9/2018

  • A problem was fixed in Labor > Work Type Maintenance that allowed Work Type length of 10 when it should be 4. Entering a Work Type longer than 4 character generated an error. - Release Date: 1/10/2018

  • Part
  • A problem was fixed in Part Pricing Inquiry where the price was sometimes incorrect if an alternate Unit Of Measure was chosen (because the UOM conversion was not handled correctly). - Release Date: 2/13/2018
  • Payables
  • A problem was fixed in Payables > Reverse Payments where the page could not find GL Transaction to adjust for the Payable Account and Discount Account. - Release Date: 3/19/2018
  • A problem was fixed in the Payables > “Create Payments” page where if the several suppliers had the same Invoice ID then checkmarking the Invoice ID for any supplier would incorrectly mark that Invoice ID for all suppliers. It will now only checkmark the Invoice ID for the Supplier of that invoice. - Release Date: 3/12/2018
  • A problem was fixed in the Payables > “Update Payables Status” page where if several suppliers had the same Invoice ID and you checkmarked the Invoice ID for any supplier, it would incorrectly mark that Invoice ID for all suppliers. It will now only checkmark the Invoice ID for the Supplier of that invoice. - Release Date: 3/12/2018
  • In Payables > Print Payments, the Payables Payment Type Last Payment Reference Number should only be updated if the new value is greater than the existing record value. This problem has been fixed. - Release Date: 2/13/2018
  • Several issues were fixed with the Payables > Cash Requirements Report including a problem where the Open Amount column was not taking into account any discount amount already taken. - Release Date: 1/15/2018
  • Several problems were fixed with the Payables > Payables Status Inquiry; including a problem where the Open Payable Amount was not getting reduced by any Payment Amount and Discount Taken Amount. Also, the [Generate Report] option was not respecting the "Open Payables Only" checkbox. - Release Date: 1/15/2018
  • Several problems were fixed in Payables Transaction Maintenance and Recurring Payables Maintenance where using the magnifier to find a supplier would cause some fields to not be updated properly. - Release Date: 1/11/2018

  • Purchase Order
  • In Purchase Order > Receipt Adjustments, fixed a GL Transaction out-of-balance problem caused by trying to insert a GL Transaction with zero value for Branch or ProfitCenter or CostCenter when that field has the "Verify" flag set in Account Master. - Release Date: 3/19/2018
  • A problem was fixed in Purchase Order > "Create Payables from Receipts" where the posting failed with the error "You cannot receive a closed order." - Release Date: 3/2/2018
  • In Purchase Orders > Receiving, the following problems were fixed: (1) Receiving a PO line item that has a requisition with an unattached backorder now correctly fills the backorder. (2) Receiving a PO line item that has a requisition with no backorder now correctly commits inventory to the requisitioned order. - Release Date: 2/1/2018

  • Clearing out the Tax Exempt Number in Quote Maintenance was causing an error. - Release Date: 2/15/2018

  • Finding an invoice (regardless of month) in receivables transactions maintenance was looking at all transactions instead of only types 1-3. - Release Date: 2/15/2018
  • In Receivables > Invoice Aging Reports, fixed "Last Payment Date" and "Last Payment Amount" to show the correct last payment info for the customer. - Release Date: 1/26/2018
  • Sales Order
  • A problem was fixed in Sales Order Maintenance where Sales Tax amount and Special Charge amount were incorrectly getting re-computed when viewing a non-open order. The amounts stored on the sales order master record will now be shown on non-open sales orders. - Release Date: 2/14/2018
  • Setting the order quantity on the detail of a sales order to a value greater than or equal to 1,000 was causing an error. - Release Date: 1/24/2018
  • Setting the sold-to customer on a new/existing sales order automatically sets the values of shipping method, payment terms, and sales rep. It was not accounting for the possibility of any of those values being inactive. - Release Date: 1/24/2018
  • Supplier
  • There was an issue with adding main/fax/toll-free phone numbers for purchasing, payments, and ship-from addresses in Suppliers. - Release Date: 3/7/2018
  • Deleting a main/fax/toll-free phone number from the Address/Phone Numbers tab was not correctly updating the Supplier record. - Release Date: 3/7/2018
  • System
  • Hand now shows when hovering over edit icon for Document Category Maintenance. - Release Date: 2/9/2018

Changes

  • Several "maintenance" pages were modified so you can press the [Enter] key on an "active" button to have that button action performed. By default, most maintenance pages have a "default" button whose action is performed whenever the user presses the [Enter] key anywhere on the form. That will still happen except when the "main" buttons are active and you press [Enter] then the main button action will now be performed instead of doing the "default" button action. - Release Date: 2/1/2018
  • All Custom Code add screens were changed to state "Add Code" rather than "Save". - Release Date: 1/8/2018
  • Modified generic reports to collapse the Selectivity box when there is no selectivity for the report. - Release Date: 1/5/2018
  • Accounting
  • For Financial Statements, restore the Event Log that was previously removed and modify the message to show the detail of what was printed. - Release Date: 1/5/2018
  • In Accounting > Year End Closing, show more informative error messages for GLClosingTransaction errors. - Release Date: 1/4/2018
  • Customer
  • In Customer > Add Customer, add support for Bill-To Customer ID, Customer Type, Apply Service Charge, and Service Charge Delay fields. - Release Date: 1/10/2018
  • Inventory
  • Inventory > Part Status Inquiry was changed to show fields: Tax Group, Special Charge, Substitute Part Number, and Replacement Part Number. Also, hide OnHand, Committed, Available, and Expected Quantity rows for non-inventory parts. - Release Date: 2/21/2018
  • Fixed Inventory > Part Inventory Maintenance to show popup warning error if part number is a non-inventory item. Also, added a detail grid to the form for quicker navigation to any inventory layer for the current part. - Release Date: 1/26/2018
  • Labor
  • For the Labor Job Barcode Sheet report, selectivity is now required. This will prevent the user from accidentally creating a very large report because no selectivity was chosen. - Release Date: 1/11/2018
  • Part
  • When adding or maintaining a Part Number, the business rules now insure inventoried items have an INVENTORY account and non-inventory items do NOT have an INVENTORY account (per the Account Group Inventory Account Account Class). - Release Date: 2/7/2018
  • In Part > Maintenance, a checkbox named "Account Group Override" was added above the Account Group drop-down box. This box will be checked if the Account Group associated with the Product Code of the Part Number differs from the Account Group on the Part Master record. The Account Group drop-down box will now be disabled if the "Account Group Override" checkbox is not checked. Additionally, unchecking this checkbox will cause the Account Group to revert to the Account Group associated with the Product Code for this Part. - Release Date: 2/7/2018
  • Sorted the Labor Types grid in Parts Standard Codes Maintenance by Part Number rather than Description. - Release Date: 1/8/2018
  • Quote
  • Modified two fields in Quote Detail Items reports to list as Cost and Ext. Cost rather than Regular Cost and Ext. Regular Cost. This was to eliminate confusion with two other fields with the same name. - Release Date: 2/9/2018
  • Modified the Sales Rep field in Quote Detail Items reports to show the Rep's name rather than their ID. - Release Date: 2/9/2018
  • Modified Quotes and Quote Detail Items reports so that Quote Status will allow you to select from a drop-down description rather than a code. - Release Date: 2/9/2018
  • Quote Master reports were extremely similar to Quotes reports. Quote Master reports have been eliminated and Quotes reports have been given a few new fields that were only available in Quote Master reports. - Release Date: 2/7/2018
  • Receivables
  • In Receivables Month-End Processing, when starting the month-end, warn if the Inventory module has not been closed for this year/month. - Release Date: 1/11/2018
  • Sales Order
  • Add support for Special Charge in Sales Order Detail Maintenance and Sales Order Entry. - Release Date: 2/22/2018
  • In Sales Order > Re-open Order, when you click on the [Re-open Order] button, a popup window will now ask you to confirm your choice. - Release Date: 2/6/2018
  • Supplier
  • Changed verbiage of a Supplier's "History" to "Yearly Balances". - Release Date: 1/18/2018
